Safety, Reliability and Versatility
TEMEC CMXT Autonomous Gate
Guarantee of constant regulation even in highly variable canal conditions. Fully autonomous, robust and reliable solution.
It allows modifying the regulated levels by manual or automated set point changes.
► Features
These solutions propose the use of an autonomous gate designed to maintain a constant downstream level. This gate offers the flexibility to adjust the level efficiently, taking advantage of tools such as a flow curve, flume or other similar devices. Thanks to this feature, it guarantees a constant and predefined bypass flow, as long as it is maintained within a specific range of upstream levels.
The distinctive feature of this type of gate is its capacity to operate without the need for electrical power, since it uses the force of the conduction for its movements. This focus makes them a particularly recommended option for design flow rates greater than 6 m³/s. In addition, their versatility extends to the fact that they can be easily remote-controlled, allowing the derived flow rate to be adjusted remotely and immediately. The absence of motors and sensors contributes to the robustness and reliability of this equipment.
Remote control is performed only for changes of set point on the regulated levels if required by the customer, with the automation of small devices inside the gate. This automation is focused on the management of the set point change, not on the adjustment operations of the gate itself in case of fluctuations in the water source, a situation that will always continue autonomously by the floats of the gate, which guarantees an efficient, smooth and reliable operation in the most severe weather conditions.
► Tips about use
This solution includes equipment inspired by a simple hydraulic design, totally autonomous, robust and free of any mechanical complication, allowing it to adapt to the most severe working conditions.
Features
- Constant and predefined through-flow guarantee.
- Guaranteed functionality in severe weather conditions and safety in case of blockages.
- No electrical power is required for operation.
- No solids retained at the bottom of the canal.
- Allows set point changes to adapt to operational changes (remote controllable).
- Low and simple maintenance.
Tips about use
- It can be motorized and remote-controlled, with small DC motors and solar panel, simplifying the set point changeover operation.
- It requires knowing the flow curve of the downstream section to obtain the flow rate.
- Requires some rubber sealing equipment to achieve complete leak-tightness.

Deliveries with modular measuremente
TEMEC MO Distributors for Manual or Automated operation
Flow delivery guarantee in gravity discharge outlets. Robust and reliable solution.
This solution does not allow modification of the installation levels on site.
► Features
These solutions propose the use of modular measurement equipment for the control of deliveries in canal bypasses. They are mounted on the canal itself, if the level variations are compatible with the operating ranges.
These devices offer a transparent and direct solution to face the difficulties associated with flow distribution. They consist of a calibrated orifice whose geometry allows for constant flow delivery, as long as it is maintained within a specific upstream level range (controlled by a crest weir). TEMEC's gates AR1, AB1, AB2, AB3, Self-Centering Disc Valves, and other possible hydraulic solutions).
Operation of this equipment does not require complicated calculations or the use of curves or tables; it is simply necessary to check the upstream level, ensure that the equipment is not obstructed and manually adjust the gates to achieve the required flow rate. The series of flow rates is not continuous, but is modulated according to the smallest gate of each model.
A unique feature of these systems is that they allow the bypass flow to be controlled without dependence on a downstream measuring device, making them ideal for modernization projects where conditions do not allow for the creation of a measuring section in the bypass.
La ausencia de mecanismos complejos o sistema de izaje contribuye a la robustez y confiabilidad de estos equipos..
► Tips about use
This solution includes equipment inspired by a simple hydraulic design, totally autonomous, robust and free of any mechanical complication, allowing it to adapt to the most severe working conditions.

Adaptable to existing projects
TEMEC Automated Slide Gates
For new or existing intakes, with supply of new Slide Gates for guaranteed water management and distribution.
This solution allows connection of the equipment to new or existing remote control systems.
► Features
These solutions are small or medium sized civil works, for canal bypasses, which include one or more slide gates controlled by electric motors managed by a system of sensors upstream and downstream of the equipment, in order to avoid manual operation. They can also be designed with manual operation.
For reservoir outlet works, we manufacture on request devices that adapt perfectly to the shape of the civil works and generally with a 4-sided seal. These devices open or close in an automated way following instructions that have been loaded in the remote control system. They also allow local manual operation.
